Design of installations for mobile cranes, tower cranes and derricks including those with difficult clearance conditions and special support problems. Analysis of crane loads on various structures including subways, subsurface utilities and concrete and steel framed buildings. Design, analysis and evaluation of scaffolding, formwork, shoring & bracing of existing and new structures for crane and/or construction loads. Logistics planning and recommendations to clients on hoisting equipment best suited to particular job conditions. Site logistics and Site Safety planning for new buildings and major renovations in NYC and other urban environments. Preparation of demolition procedures and evaluation of structural stability during demolition including evaluation of equipment loading on floors. Redesign of structural alterations (designed by others) to existing buildings to simplify construction procedures and reduce costs.

Special projects related to hoisting equipment, heavy machinery and mechanical/structural design.

Design of supports and vibration analysis for multicolor printing press installation on upper floors of buildings.

Accident investigation, principally concerning cranes.
